Ms. Clymer is a business development executive with over 25 years of transaction and fundraising experience in the U.S. and Japanese biotechnology industries. Prior to joining Parvus, Susan was the Managing Director of NichiBei Bio, Inc., a business development consulting practice she founded specializing in U.S.-Japanese corporate alliances in the biotechnology industry. Prior to establishing NichiBei Bio, Ms. Clymer held business development positions with two publicly traded biotech companies. Over the course of her career, Susan has been involved in the formation and management of both public and private U.S. and Japanese venture-backed companies, including as a co-founder of WebMD. Susan began her career in the biotechnology industry as an analyst with the U.S. Congressional Office of Technology Assessment (OTA), where she co-authored two in-depth reports for Congressman Albert Gore, Jr. Ms. Clymer is a graduate of Georgetown University, School of Foreign Service and was a Fulbright scholar in Japan.
